Coach Chris Shacca starts his first full season as part of the Batting 1000 organization. As a high school senior at Valley Stream North, Chris earned Conference Player of the Year and All-State baseball accolades. He graduated in May 2008 from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY cum laude with a degree in mathematics and minor in political science. As a senior in college, Chris achieved Conference Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Region honors through his training and dedication. Currently, Chris is the JV baseball and middle school football coach at Mineola High School. When he is not playing baseball, you can find Chris training or spending time with his family and friends."

Chris Shacca is a welcomed addition the Batting 1.000 Family. Many of the B1 coaches have had the pleasure of playing baseball against Chris for a good portion of their careers. Please welcome him to our family.
